A Journey of 36 Years

Today would have been Mike and my 36 year wedding anniversary. I was not looking forward to it because holidays are so hard when someone you love moves on to Heaven. Especially the first’s.

My kids made it very special for me. Matthew and Christa made a video for me that was so amazing. I’ve only watched it a few times. #NOT

Christa my daughter has a blog called Pocket Full of Memories and she wrote the an awesome post on our journey as husband and wife, our move to Michigan and raising five children. It is really too long to add it all here but click the link and go read it. It is a slice of our life you could say and you will get to know my family and I a little better.

Have something to add?

    Dear Missy,
Happy Anniversary! Life is truly wonderful! Memories are precious they help us to remember that life is good, they strengthen us, they carry us on and give us the ability to create more. You have a great legacy, your house was built upon the rock. I pray for you to have the best day ever, rejoicing in the Lord that your husband is alive and living with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Dance the dance of David, dance like never before, this is your wedding day!

Beautiful made me cry , what wonderful children you and your husband raised together with love , The song is a special one for me also , my husband sang it to me ,when it first came out and we sing it as a duet many times since . I made a video slide show for my daddy when he left and went to heaven .I am sorry ,you and your hhusband did not get more of those beautiful memories .I’m sorry he didn’t get to stay with you and help you as you are still grieving your beautiful son ,grandchild . My heart breaks for you as now you grieve your husband ,soulmate. We still wanted more and yes we are grateful we have those memories ,
